Hole in your pocket?

Do you remember when you were a kid and a hundred dollars was about the biggest amount of money you could think of? I remember wanting to buy the Optimus Prime toy so badly. I think it was only $26, but I had made a pact with myself to save up to $100 before spending the $26. To be assured, I didn't make it past $28, but that's another issue.

Fast forward to present day. Now there's about a hundred dollars of coupons on Cellfire. Sorry, no Optimus Prime coupon yet, but still, that hundred bucks of savings are available to you each week, each month on Cellfire.

Not that you have to run out and buy an army of My Little Ponys with that hundred bucks, but maybe there are some more practical things you could do with the cash you save with Cellfire.

  • Download a game for your phone
  • Get a cute dangly toy
  • Get a killer ringtone
  • Encrust your phone
  • Upgrade your minute plan, your data plan, or your phone itself!

Or, you could just save the cash. After all, it's your money. Cellfire just lets you keep it.

Shared joy is doubled joy

It's a recurring theme throughout history. Lady and the Tramp slurped spaghetti. Kit-Kat broke off a piece. And wasn't it great to share an 8'x8' room with a total stranger freshman year?

Shared joy truly is doubled joy, as they say. And Cellfire is all about joy.

Here comes the sharing part. If your cell phone isn't compatible with Cellfire but you yearn to save some serious cash, you're in luck. All you gotta do is find a friend with a compatible phone and tell them about Cellfire. (Mooching is still legal in 49 states.)

It's an easy sell. Just try this script.

Hey [insert friend's name here]! You know, I've been thinking. There comes a time in everybody's relationship when you just gotta [eat delicious food / buy geeky gadgetry / buy sporting goods] – together. And I want to share that special moment with you.

But you know what? I think we could do the world – and ourselves – a favor and save a buck or two while we're at it. And I have just the way. No no, before you walk away, it has nothing to do with Sunday papers or junkmail. On the contrary! It has to do with your cell phone.

Oh yes, your cell phone! There's an awesome new cell phone app I've discovered that lets you store coupons on your phone. It's called Cellfire. And it's free. To use a coupon, you just bring it up on your phone and show it to the cashier.

Dearest friend, I know you'll seriously love Cellfire. Would I lead you astray? Look at me. Get Cellfire now and we will [watch amazing movies / buy flowers / get awesome haircuts] together.

Faithfully yours,
[Your name]

Or you can ditch the kitch. But whatever you do, tell a friend about Cellfire today!

If you're already on Cellfire, you are doubly in luck, because you can use your cell phone to spread the Cellfire joy. Just open Cellfire on your phone, select Share with a Friend, and type in their number. They'll get a download link in no time.

Happy sharing!
